⚫️🟡 My 2025 Content Strategy: What I'm Doing and What You Can Copy

If you fell of content wagon 2024 this is a way hop back on.

And we’re back.

I want to kick off this newsletter by acknowledging something important: 2024 was a bit of a content rollercoaster.

I struggled to keep a consistent posting schedule, often disappearing for weeks (or months!).

On top of that, I fell into the trap of churning out algorithm-friendly listicles—“6 Ways to Grow B2B Social Accounts”-type content that can be found anywhere.

Half the time, I felt like I was writing a Wikipedia entry. BOOORING!

But that’s all changing this year.

I’m going to walk you through my new content strategy for 2025. I’m sharing this because, if you're like me and had some content ups and downs last year, this might help.

With social you can always pick up where you left off, commit to a plan, and move forward.

Change 1: No More Commodity Content

So sayonara, arrivederci, and goodbye to cookie-cutter listicles. Instead, I’m doubling down on exploring new ideas and content philosophies. Expect to see posts on topics like:

Topics like this interest me, and quite frankly are more fun to write than the same sh*t everyone else is churning out.

Change 2 - Sticking to my framework

My 2025 Content Framework

(Feel free to copy this if it helps you!)

  1. Consistency - Platforms are rewarding consistent posting more than ever before. I’ll be writing 50 newsletters this year.

  2. Focus - My content is for social-first marketers. Last year, I dabbled into areas like philosophy, personal development, and even finance (why!?). This year, I’m crystal clear on who I’m helping and what I’ll be writing about. I.E. Marketers who work in social media.

  3. Point of View (POV) - I’m sticking to two angles: either (i) the helpful guide or (ii) the explorer. In simple terms, either I’ll be giving advice based on experience or I will be documenting my experience and sharing results.

By outlining my schedule, honing in on my audience, and defining my POV, I’m making content creation more straightforward and honestly more fun.

You Can Do the Same

If you also fell off the content wagon in 2024, it's all good.

The beauty of social media is that it’s never too late to get back in the game. A commitment to consistency, clarity on your audience, and a defined POV can make a huge difference in your output and impact.

See you next week.

Here’s to a great 2025. 🍻

Hope that helps!

Until next week,
